Each colour printed requires a film positive to be produced prior to printing.

A true photographic process where the image is developed into the anodic layer of the aluminium. The process is very similar to how normal black and white photography on photographic paper is developed with silver compounds embedded into the anodic layer.
MetalPHOTO is used for specialist applications requiring very thin or flexible metal stock or exceptionally fine print definition. Limited to black or gray scale printing on a silver or gold background.

Multi Colour Digital Printing onto the metal surface and then encapsulated under a layer of clear mylar laminate to protect the printed image. Recommended for indoor use or sheltered external applications.
